Hi there, I’m Tascha! Thanks for visiting Point Clear Eats. I am both a Mother and a Wife, living in Point Clear, on the shores of beautiful Mobile Bay. I’ve been Vegan and Gluten-free for over 2 years. I avoid processed foods and I am a “conscientious omnivore” that eats only a plant-based diet. Using organic, non-GMO, Kosher ingredients and local produce.

I offer nothing but the freshest eats that are hard to beat on the Eastern Shore.

My name is Tascha. I am a Nature Lover, a Mother and Wife, wellness warrior, adventurer and a lover of all things healthy! I have been 100% gluten-free since 2012, after discovering I had a severe intolerance. In 2012, I was inspired to begin Marie’s Kitchen, now Point Clear Eats, after significantly changing my diet and my life!

In this space, I felt called to share my journey and my creations in the kitchen as a means to inspire others to make healthier choices and take control of their health. I believe in balance and listening to your own body, eating intuitively and living without labels.

I have chosen to heal my body by making healthy choices every day, choosing the foods that will nourish both my body and my soul. While I am flexible to all needs or wants, for this reason I do not cook or bake entirely vegan or paleo but you will find that many of my dishes will fit both of these categories, as well as many others.

Imagine a world where people wake up every day inspired to go to work, feel safe while they are there, and return home at the end of the day feeling fulfilled by the work they do, feeling that they have contributed to something greater than themselves.

No matter your chosen path or where you are at in your own journey, my goal is to inspire you to get creative with your health, to look at vegetables, fruit and other whole foods in a brand new light.

I want Point Clear Eats to be a store and a community, for anyone who wants to feel good, heal their body and eat well, no matter what their dietary challenges may be. Bringing personal experience, knowledge, empathy and humor to the goal of living and eating well with intolerances and allergies.

I am a firm believer in the power of foods that heal and the value of cooking.
